RAPTORALLEY LEAGUE SPECIFIC RULES
TOUR SCHEDULES:
If you are in a tour, please pay attention. NO rebowls for not paying attention. We run enough tours so you can find the ones that fit your schedule. Remember we do have a schedule to keep. PLEASE ARRIVE IN THE ROOM 10 minutes PRIOR TO TOURNAMENT START TIME. Your host will update you on when they will be closing registration and check in. They will also notify you of any delays in tournament start times.
Anyone who jumps a tour and does not show up will be left in for the first round but will be taken out in 2nd round if enough players are in to make a tour. Anyone who leaves in the middle of a tour without an excuse will be left in and you will take the losses and lose your bux. Please pick your tours wisely.
BOOTING:
Rebowls because of booting or ghost pins will not be allowed. If you are booted or leave and come back in and start bowling in the current frame being played ~ your score in 10th frame will stand. If the tour is a game where you are required to bowl all frames you will automatically take a loss.
POSTING:
The non-winner (loser) of the round will post results like this: the winner's name/the loser's name. If you do not post after the round is completed, you will be removed from the tour. If the tour is a double elimination, you will lose the next round you are in, thus eliminating you from the tour.
TIE GAMES:
ONLY the tied players will play the next game. If you tie a second time the next round will be a dead heat (the first one not to strike loses). This helps the tour continue on in a timely manner and doesn't have other players waiting for endless ties to be broken. Exceptions to this rule are made in special tournaments such as the TOC, BOS and Members vs Staff.
IF YOU ARE SUSPECTED OF TRYING TO TIE ON PURPOSE YOU WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE TOUR AND GET BOXED FOR ONE (1) DAY. A REPEAT OF THIS OFFENSE WILL HAVE YOU REMOVED FROM THE TOUR AND BOXED FOR THREE (3) DAYS. A THIRD OFFENSE WILL HAVE YOU REMOVED FROM THE TOUR AS WELL AS THE LEAGUE.
TOURNAMENT MATCH REPORTING:
Losses are reported after the 10th frame by the LOSER of the match in the following format: winner's name//loser's name. If you report before the 10th frame this will be acknowledged by the TD and you will lose that round; if you, by chance, happen to win after reporting, then you still lose. Also, if you say to give the win to your opponent, this will also be acknowledged by the TD and will be done.
DISPUTES IN REPORTING:
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU KEEP TRACK OF YOUR SCORES AND OPPONENTS AT ALL TIMES IN CASE OF A DISPUTE.
ALL PARTICIPANTS: Please watch chat to make sure that your win and opponent's loss is reported correctly.
Any disputes must be brought up BEFORE the tournament is advanced to the next round. Once the next round is started, scores CAN NOT be changed.
2 VS 2 TOURNAMENTS:
The captain of the team will report in the following format: "your score/partners score=total score" when called upon for reporting. If you or your partner are booted you will receive 200 points to add with your partners score. No rebowls.
LANGUAGE:
We are bound by Pogo's and Case's chat rules. Vulgar and obscene language will not be tolerated. Not only will you get reported by other players not in the league, but you run the chance of being boxed. The following are from Pogo's Terms of Service rules on chat: Strong vulgar language, crude or explicit sexual references, discussions of illegal drugs, and hate speech are always inappropriate content for EA Online. Always use your best judgment in online conduct. If you would not say something in a room full of people you have never met, or in the workplace, don't post it on our message boards or chat.
MISC:
Any league member caught using a cheat program will be immediately banned from the league. If you suspect a league member of using a cheat program, contact MEANDADDY as soon as possible; please do not discuss this in the room.
Admin. reserves the right to remove/ban any member, without prior warning, under the age of 18, or any new member whose behavior or actions cause trouble in the league room.
Harassment of any player, in any form, for any reason, will be dealt with at admin.'s discretion.
Confrontation of a Tournament Director in public chat is strictly forbidden and is cause for immediate removal from the league. Please take your host into private chat if you have a conflict.
We are strictly a "Way To Go Bowling" league. We run a multitude of different bowling games. It would be to your advantage to look at the tour host's page to see what game will be played. If you have any questions about how to do this please ask a TD.
All the TDs are willing to help you; please just ask!
The most important rule is to HAVE FUN!
